Calming Serum (30ml)

The Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum, now in its renewed and vegan-friendly version, is a lightweight serum enriched with naturally-derived calming and moisturizing ingredients. The formulation includes 50% green tea leaf water, 30% Mugwort, and 5% Panthenol.

This serum, infused with traditional Korean herbal medicine ingredients ('hanbang'), is designed to address redness and sensitivity in the skin. Green tea, renowned for its antioxidant properties, aids in reducing sebum and oil production while soothing and evening out skin tone. The primary component of green tea, EGCG (catechin), comprising tannins and polyphenols, effectively improves UV-ray-damaged skin.

Catechin, within green tea, suppresses the synthesis of melanin pigment caused by UV rays and eliminates free radicals that contribute to aging, helping maintain clearer skin. Additionally, green tea is rich in vitamin C, 5-8 times more than lemon, a key component for brightening the skin.

Panthenol contributes to keeping the skin smooth and supple, while Centella Asiatica provides calming benefits. Other ingredients and their properties include Artemisia vulgaris extract and Centella Asiatica extract for calming and soothing effects, and Glycerin and Sodium hyaluronate for moisturizing and hydrating benefits.

Ideal for oily, normal, and combination skin types, this serum has a pH of 6.6 and is formulated without artificial fragrances, parabens, sulfates, artificial color, alcohol, silicone, mineral oil, and essential oils.
